RULES/POINTS

Each perfect day is worth 100 points. 


A perfect day includes:

- 30 points for healthy meals. You earn 6 points per meal for eating 5 HEALTHY meals/snacks. It is a good idea to eat often to keep your metabolism going. Be honest and healthy. No starving or doing anything extreme to lose weight - the point is to be healthy. You can have one full free day to eat anything and one additional meal off a week (give yourself full points for your free day and meal off).

- 20 points for daily exercise.  You earn your exercise points by doing some form of exercise for 20 minutes per day. (Exercise must raise your heartbeat and increase your breathing - i.e. can carry on a conversation, but can't sing a song).

- 10 points for daily water. You earn your water points by drinking 100 Oz. per day. This is all or nothing.

- 15 points for sleep. You earn your sleep points by sleeping a minimum of seven hours a night (or at least being in bed, trying to sleep).

- 20 points for "transformation".  You earn 10 points a day for practicing one healthy new habit (must be measurable, meaning you know definitely that you have or have not done it for the day) and another 10 points a day for eliminating one unhealthy old habit.


- 5 points for communication.  You earn your communication points by being in contact with at least one opponent each day. Posting on the blog counts for both. Phone calls, emails and text messages also count.

- 10 points for On Time Reporting.  Add 10 points for reporting your score to the blog by noon on fridays.

- 10 points for Weight. Add 10 points at the end of the week if your weight either stayed the same or decreased.

PENALTIES:

- Snacking penalty: deduct 10 points for eating fried or a sugary snack.

- Scale penalty: deduct 1 point each time you weigh yourself more than one time a day.

- Collusion penalty: deduct 20 points if you suggest cheating in the game (i.e. "i will not drink my water if you don't drink your water and then when we both lose our points, it will balance out.")

- Change of habit: deduct 50 points if you decide your habit is too hard and you change it mid-game. 


IN THE EVENT OF A TIE AT THE END OF 8 WEEKS: the team with the most percent of weight loss will be the winner.

Added information from out meeting:

1. For those that drink tea, only 32 oz. of it can count as your water.

2. For your meal off: it can only span 1.5 hours of eating enjoyment. After that freedom is over!

3. You need to have veggies in at least 2 of your meals/snacks.

4. Cucumber and celery can be enjoyed as much as you want and as often as you want!

5. All snacks/meals must be balanced which means they must include fat/protein/carb.

6. Get full communication points when on vacation, no need to blog or communicate.

7. You may also have a free 100 calorie snack each day, can be a bite of some treat or even a 100 calorie snack pack or whatever you wish, just once per day and only 100 calories.
