So I was going over my log sheets from the past six weeks, and if we do this for another 8 weeks - I agree - the bonus points are bogus. Here's why: the first week, I lost 5.2 pounds - waaaay more than my 1% for my bonus. Barely got my bonus the next week, and, since our bodies strive to let go of about 2 pounds of fat per week if we're eating healthy, I didn't lose anything the next two weeks. In fact, I went up .5 lb. one week, and .7 the next. BUT, the 5th week, I lost 3.7 pounds - again way more than the 1% needed for the bonus. This week - 1.7 - not enough for the bonus. BUT, over two weeks - I lost 5.4 pounds - more than 2%. Our bodies tend to adjust for us if we're doing it healthily, and the bonus being awarded weekly can't reflect that.
I'm just saying.

You're not the only one that has issues on the scale. 1st week lost 5.9. 2nd lost 3.4. 3rd lost 2.3. Next two weeks went up and now last weigh in i'm almost down to where i was at week 3 weigh in. Overall not so bad of weight loss (still down 11) but same as you, the scale has a bit of a roller coaster effect. Daaaang!
