Great Website

A friend put me on to a website: www.livestrong.com
You can click on "My Plate" - and put in your nutrition goals - like how much weight you want to lose every week, and it will figure how many calories you should eat for your age and size. THEN, you can log your food, and it will search - often even name brands - and calculate what you eat. It's how I've been logging my food for the last two days. There's a place for you to log your exercise, water consumption, and there's a pie graph showing your proportion of protein, carbs & fats for the day. It calculates all that for your day, and any numbers that are too high show up in red, so you can tweak the next day.

IT'S AWESOME! So much easier to finish a meal, and just sit down for a minute at the computer and log in what I've eaten.

Laureen.... I am soooo glad we did not boot you out of the game! I love your informational blogs and your great recipes. The tomato thing is my new favorite that i eat every day now.
