Split the winnings?

I think my little brother may be sensing his defeat in this game. A few posts ago, he suggested splitting the pot- $150 for 1st place team, $75 for 2nd place team and $50 dollars for 3rd place team. What do you all think? Obviously, more people would see some cash, however, it would be a major sacrifice for me as I already had my winnings spent (some really cute purses I have had my eye on..). But, because I am a good sport, (unlike my brother), I am totally willing to give a cut of my earnings to the less fortunate. It'll be a little taste of socialism right in our own game.
