OUCH!
I have been fighting tendonitis in my elbow since March. It has finally gotten so bad I went and got a cortisone shot in it today. the shot wasn't so bad but about an hour after (when the numbing wore off) I am dying!!!! It hurts so bad, it is swollen and i cant even bend or straighten it and the worst part is I had to type all day today and now I get to go clean the gym! It has also given me a headache and the rest of my body is aching....weird! Hope I survive!

I had to have cortisone shots in my feet years ago. The worst side effect was that I didn't sleep for about three days. I was WIRED. If you can't sleep, you might want to take some tylenol p.m. for a couple of nights so you don't have a full-on manic thing going. Good luck - so sorry! There's nothing like pain to eclipse your life!
