For those of you who were on the last "Game on" and were able to meet my partner Janna, I just wanted to let you know how very sick she is. We went to Jackson Hole the first week of August and since the day we got back, she has to go to the hospital twice a day, 4 hours at a time and be fed by IV. Last week she finally got to eat some apple sauce. Her condition is quite unknown but her stomach got swollen and tore inside and the acid is making it not heal. She was hospitalized for 4 days last week and they were going to do surgery but found that her blood levels were off. She is scheduled to have her surgery next week.
It puts a new perspective on all the healthy food that we are able to eat. I'm sure IV food sucks!!!!!
