Way to go!

I love hearing about everyone's experiences giving up the garbage at big events! It is inspiring!

I had a big family luau (husband's aunt is married to a Samoan) with a fire dance and everything. Of course, there was A TON of food! But, I passed on the rolls fried pork and cookies, ice cream and bday cake. And stuck with the pork tenderloin and fruit! I felt satisfied and it was great!

Thanks for the inspiration! Way to go, Kristin--especially when you were totally craving it. It's one thing to pass it up when the urge isn't that strong. A whole other thing to overcome when it's a 'beast' as you said! Good job!!
