Had a free meal last night, and for the first time, it was about a free meal. It wasn't about just having dessert - I actually didn't have dessert. I did wander down to Sweet Afton's for a fudge sample afterwards (why yes! I was at Gardner Village, why do you ask?). But I ordered chicken cordon bleu, which I never do, because it's so rich and calorie dense. But I enjoyed it thoroughly, had some fudge afterwards (pumpkin cheesecake fudge? who knew....). And I am completely happy to have my oatmeal this morning.
The free day/meal concept is truly helping to transform not just my habits, but my very thinking, about food.
